Donald Trump’s White House faced turmoil following a controversial interview by his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, who labeled it a “hit piece” despite participating in 11 interviews for it. Wiles alleged that the President’s team is aware of his involvement in the Epstein Files and accused him of having traits resembling an alcoholic’s personality. Her response on social media after more than a year of silence suggests internal unrest within the White House.

A source close to the administration indicated that Wiles is unlikely to be removed due to the article but predicted that it would likely provoke a strong reaction from the President. The source expressed that Trump might react by expressing anger and possibly throwing things as he lacks alternative sources of support at the moment.

Trump faced criticism for his insensitive remarks regarding the murdered film director Rob Reiner, whom he suggested suffered from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Reiner and his wife were tragically killed in their home, leading to their son’s arrest and murder charges.

In the interviews, Wiles portrayed Trump, a teetotaler, as exhibiting characteristics of an alcoholic personality and maintaining an unwavering belief in his abilities. She made controversial statements about Elon Musk’s drug use, alleging him to be a ketamine user. Despite denying making such remarks to Vanity Fair, evidence emerged contradicting her denial.

Wiles heavily criticized Attorney General Pam Bondi’s handling of the Epstein case and public expectations, citing instances where Bondi failed to address critical concerns effectively. She highlighted Bondi’s distribution of empty binders and misleading statements regarding Epstein-related information.

Wiles acknowledged Trump’s presence in the Epstein documents but defended him against any wrongdoing. She compared Trump’s behavior to that of her late father, sports broadcaster Pat Summerall, who battled alcoholism, and revealed her attempts to dissuade Trump from pursuing vendettas against his adversaries.

Furthermore, Wiles provided colorful descriptions of various political figures, including Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Vice President J.D. Vance, and Elon Musk, criticizing their actions and behaviors. She condemned Musk’s decision to shut down the USAID agency, emphasizing the irrationality of such a move.

Despite labeling the profile as a “hit piece,” Wiles did not refute the specific quotes attributed to her. She and her supporters defended her reputation and loyalty to President Trump amidst the controversy surrounding the interview. Wiles, known for managing Trump’s 2024 campaign, was appointed as the first female White House chief of staff to maintain order and control access to the President, a role that faced skepticism initially.
