Her preparation for this ambitious goal is on track, with the Pan Pacific swimming championships, taking place in the same city as the 2028 Games, serving as a crucial benchmark for her progress.

Arriving for the championships just days before turning 20, McIntosh expressed her excitement and determination for the upcoming Olympics. She shared her awe-inspiring moment of flying over the stadium where she hopes to make her mark, emphasizing the significance of being in California, the host state of the upcoming Games.

Having already secured three gold medals at the Paris Olympics, McIntosh has skyrocketed to stardom in the swimming world. She currently holds four individual long-course world records, including the 200m butterfly, 200m individual medley, 400m freestyle, and 400m individual medley.
