Celebrity Big Brother fans in tears as Will and AJ address iconic show couple’s split

Published:

Celebrity Big Brother fans were left “in tears” after Will Best mentioned the split of one iconic Big Brother couple, which was announced earlier today.

Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan, known together as Jenry, met on the 2023 series of the ITV show and fans were rooting for their romance throughout. However, fans were left gutted when the pair announced they had gone their separate ways today. It came as a shock to fans after the pair appeared loved up when they appeared on Late and Live last week.

Tonight, Celebrity Big Brother will evict three celebrities from the house following a brutal face-to-face twist which host Will Best called “a twist more shocking than former Big Brother stars Jordan and Henry breaking up,” leaving Big Brother fans devastated.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “one minute in jenry breakup addressed im so not okay #cbbuk #CBB,” as another penned: “I love that Will and AJ mentioned the Jenry breakup and the whole crowd were devastated.”

A third gutted fan wrote: “The Jenry break up getting a mention tonight #CBBUK #CBB #CelebrityBigBrother.” Unfortunately for some fans, it was the first they heard of the news, as one shocked fan wrote: “Jordan and Henry have broken up?? Nooooo!”

Earlier today, the pair took to Instagram to share the heartbreaking announcement. Henry penned: “After a lot of thought, Jordan and I have decided to go our separate ways. “It’s incredible sad, and we’re both hurting, but we know it’s the right step. We’re so grateful for the love and support you’ve shown us – thank you.” He then added: “Please give us some space as we figure things out privately.”

Jordan then took to Instagram to share his own message, writing: “An unfortunate announcement. After many times, memories, and precious experience, Henry and I have parted ways. I want to than everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers x.”

The pair met on the revived series of Big Brother on ITV in 2023 where they initially struck up a friendship. As the days went by, they got closer and closer.

After leaving the show with Jordan crowned winner, the couple moved in with each other. Jordan, who worked as a lawyer before going on the reality TV show, hit back at showmance claims following their exit from the house.

Speaking to The Sun, Jordan – who secured the £100,000 prize – said: “We’re very much in love. I mean I wish it was a showmance, but it’s not.”

Celebrity Big Brother 2025 airs weeknights and Sundays at 9PM on ITV1 and ITVX.
