Celebrity Big Brother fans scream ‘it’s a shame’ as first star evicted in triple elimination

Published:

Celebrity Big Brother fans were disappointed as the first star, Angellica Bell, out of a shock three was evicted from the house. After a tense round of face-to-face nominations on Monday night, Patsy Palmer, Ella, Chris Hughes, Angellica Bell and JoJo Siwa ended up with the most nominations.

On Tuesday, after a day of hanging out, the housemates gathered to wait for an elimination. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best announced TV presenter Angellica was the first person out of the three to be eliminated, after Michael Fabricant, Trisha Goddard, and Daley Thompson.

However, fans were upset by the news, with one user taking to X/Twitter to write: “nOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, I wanted her to stay,” along with a sad face emoji.

One person added: “Angelica is the 4th out! It was pretty obvious! I will miss her but… it was definitely her time!” Another said: “I think Angellica was just starting to open up a bit more and have more fun, which is a shame as it was too late!”

“Angelica would be a great friend to have! She has such a wonderful vibe about her. Shame she has been evicted,” another posted.

Last night’s episode of Celebrity Big Brother proved to be a dramatic one, with a number of stars bursting into tears during the face-to-face nominations.

Ella Rae Wise walked out halfway through after being nominated by JoJo. JoJo said that she felt Ella seemingly wanted there to be a “negative or drama” as she explained her nomination reason. “I feel that can be really hard when it feels like there’s a tension that doesn’t need to be there,” she said.

Ella then burst into tears and took a break, with Danny Beard following after her. “It’s not easy,” he said. Chesney Hawkes was heartbroken by Ella’s nomination as she accused him of not defending her from Mickey Rourke’s comments.

She nominated him and told him he was in the same environment as Mickey when he made a lewd sexual comment towards her. She added that she believed Chesney should have defended her in the situation.

During a conversation with US star JoJo Siwa, Chesney became emotional as JoJo explained that what Ella had said was given in a “bad tone.” Chesney said: “It was pretty mean,” as JoJo believed the reality star was “trying to get a rise” from Chesney.

The fallout continued as Angellica Bell was heard telling JoJo that Donna Preston hadn’t talked to her all day following the face-to-face nominations.

“Donna hasn’t spoken to me today,” she said, with JoJo replying: “They haven’t spoken to you today? Donna hasn’t. It’s like the same thing with Danny – it’s not that deep. Why do we care that much?” Angellica then added: “They aren’t my people.”
