Two women, Sarah Faber, 37, and Amy Billotte, 51, are facing a combined total of over 1,900 charges after a teenage boy was found severely malnourished and dehydrated. The charges include false imprisonment, aggravated assault, child endangerment, involuntary servitude, and more. School officials alerted the police about the boy’s condition, prompting further investigation.

The teenager was taken to a hospital in Pittsburgh, where staff discovered signs of malnutrition and injuries. The boy revealed to investigators that he was confined to his bedroom for extended periods, monitored by cameras and subjected to strict restrictions. He was allegedly forced to stand and exercise excessively, even being duct-taped to the floor at night.

The boy reported being deprived of basic necessities like a mattress and clothes, locked in the basement as punishment, physically abused, and threatened with terrifying tactics involving clowns and cat insulin. The police chief described the case as heart-breaking, emphasizing the long road to recovery ahead.

Neighbors expressed shock at the situation, recalling disturbing incidents like seeing the boy taking out the trash in a nappy during cold weather. Preliminary hearings for the accused are scheduled for early January.
