A prominent sign displayed a message, “Alex, you will always be remembered. Nurse, Neighbor, Helper, Patriot.” The community surrounding the makeshift memorial expressed deep sorrow. Mary Jenson, a resident from North Minneapolis, shared her shock upon awakening to the news of Pretti’s untimely death. Jenson reiterated the town’s collective resolve to support one another, emphasizing the strength and unity prevailing in the face of adversity.
