Apple has unveiled the latest iPhone 17e, offering significant upgrades at an attractive price point. Priced at £599, the device features a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging, durable construction, and an impressive single-lens camera. Notably, this price tag is £200 lower than that of Apple’s flagship iPhone model.
In a similar vein, Samsung has confirmed the release of its new A57 and A37 smartphones, starting at just £399. While these models may not match the performance or charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they boast a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology. This provides smoother navigation through content compared to the 60Hz display on the iPhone 17e.
The Galaxy phones from Samsung also come equipped with notable features such as large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and a P68 water and dust resistance rating. For users interested in integrating AI into their daily lives, Samsung has integrated smart features into the A37 and A57 models. These include Google’s Circle to Search for quick web queries and advanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions for effortless image enhancement and sharing.
Furthermore, Samsung has enhanced the Voice Transcription feature within the Voice Recorder app, enabling users to transcribe call recordings and convert voicemail into text for easy reference. The company has also committed to providing long-term support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G, guaranteeing up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB). The Galaxy A57 5G will be offered in colors such as Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will come in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White variants.
