In a surprising development, Sky has revealed the comeback of one of its beloved channels. The well-liked Sky One channel is set to make a return to screens later this month after being discontinued in 2021. The TV company promises that the relaunch will feature irresistible comedy and entertainment shows, including new series like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.

Audience favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted will also be accessible through the service, now residing on channel 106. Additionally, Sky One will debut Saturday Night Live UK, scheduled for later this year.

This revived channel will supplant Sky Showcase and Sky Max, amalgamating a diverse array of entertainment in one location, streamlining the process for viewers to discover must-watch TV content.

Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, stated, “Our aim is to simplify the discovery and enjoyment of beloved shows for Sky TV customers.” Building on the esteemed legacy of Sky One, the channel will be a unique destination that is vibrant, distinctive, and full of vigor, featuring new Sky Originals like The Dyers’ Caravan Park, returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., and serving as the home of the highly anticipated Saturday Night Live UK.

Wondering when you can tune in? Sky One will debut on channel 106 on Tuesday, February 24.

This channel update news coincides with Sky’s recent confirmation of a significant event this month. In an invitation extended to Mirror Online, the company teased, “Exciting developments are on the horizon for Sky TV. Join us to learn more.”

The language used in the invitation is undeniably intriguing, promising an exciting period for households with this service. Sky typically hosts in-person launch events only for major announcements, sparking speculation about what might be revealed.

Mirror Online will be present at the event in London’s West End, providing live updates as news unfolds. The announcement is slated to commence around 10am on February 11.
