Dulwich College, where Nigel Farage attended, has expressed concern over allegations of racism and antisemitism attributed to the Reform leader. The school’s Master, Robert Milne, in a letter obtained by Sky News, stated that the reported behavior is contrary to the institution’s principles. Claims made by former classmates of Farage, including one stating that he once said “Hitler was right,” have stirred controversy.

Following demands from eleven Holocaust survivors, the college urged transparency from Farage regarding the accusations. Milne emphasized that the school’s silence should not be misconstrued as apathy, acknowledging the seriousness of the reported conduct. Despite Reform UK defending Farage as a victim of a “witch-hunt,” the school reiterated that racist and antisemitic behavior is incompatible with its values.

Milne clarified that the school’s decision to refrain from public comments was to safeguard its long-term reputation, not a sign of indifference. He assured that the described behaviors are completely contradictory to the present values upheld by Dulwich College, emphasizing their commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion policies.

Farage has faced scrutiny over the alleged remarks, with his party dismissing the claims as baseless. In a press conference, Farage acknowledged the comments but insisted they were not made with malicious intent. He reflected on past statements, attributing them to youthful indiscretion and pointing out a political motive behind the accusations.

Reform was contacted for comment by the Mirror, with a party spokesman denouncing the allegations as a smear campaign to discredit Farage and the party. They criticized the focus on historical incidents as a diversion from substantive policy debates, dismissing it as a last-ditch effort by opponents.
