EE has introduced new SIM plans to address a common issue faced by many customers. As people increasingly stream content on the go, running out of data has become a prevalent concern. To tackle this, EE’s latest pay-as-you-go SIMs come with a complimentary feature called “Data Parachute.” This feature automatically grants users an extra 1GB of data if they unexpectedly deplete their allowance.

According to EE, “Data Parachute” aims to keep customers connected, allowing them to communicate with friends, use navigation apps, and have a buffer until they can top up their data. These new plans, starting at £10 per month, offer additional perks such as data rollover and free data boosts that augment customers’ data allowances.

Moreover, EE pay-as-you-go customers have access to the 5G network, promising enhanced performance and faster speeds. The pricing for the plans is as follows:

– £10 for 20GB
– £15 for 75GB
– £20 for 150GB
– £30 for 200GB
– £35 for Unlimited

While EE’s Data Parachute sets it apart, other providers offer competitive deals. For instance, SMARTY provides 80GB for £8 per month or Unlimited data for £20. Giffgaff’s offerings include 75GB for £10 per month and 60GB for £13. It is advisable for consumers to compare deals and select an appropriate data plan to avoid unnecessary costs.
