Sam Thompson enjoyed a romantic Easter weekend in the heart of London with Love Island star, Samie Elishi, according to reports. The Made In Chelsea star has moved on from his split with Zara McDermott, who is now dating One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson.
Sam has kept coy about his love life following his split from Zara, however, he’s now said to be dating Samie, who he reportedly spent Easter with in Chelsea, where they rocked up at the Fine Food Market on the swanky King’s Road. The weekly market boasts a whole host of artisanal and locally produced food and wine and is often frequented by famous faces.
Suggesting Sam and Samie could end up in a “long term relationship” after their romantic weekend in the capital, a source told MailOnline: “Sam and Samie are really getting along and if early signs are anything to go by, this could turn into a long-term relationship.
“It may be early days still, but they do really like each other.”
Claiming Sam was happy to go public with his romance, they added: “Sam is already introducing Samie to Chelsea by showing her off on the King’s Road over the Easter weekend and given how popular he is in the area, it meant a lot that he wasn’t hiding her away.”
Sam first met Samie, who appeared on Love Island in 2023 and returned to the All Stars series this year, when he was a presenter on spinoff, Aftersun.
Following his split with Zara, the pair are said to have started exchanging flirty messages over Instagram before hitting it off in person.
A source told The Sun “Sam found the split and its public fall-out very hard but Samie has put a smile back on his face. She is a stunning girl and he’s told a few pals about her. He seems excited. Obviously it’s early days, but clearly he has a thing for Love Islanders.”
While Samie has previously dated fellow Love Islander Tom Clare, Zara has moved on from Sam with One Direction star Louis Tomlinson, 33.
The unlikely pair have been dating for several weeks now, with friends and family reportedly saying they can see the relationship going the whole way. Zara has reportedly already met Louis’ family and has been helping him grieve the death of his best friend Liam Payne since they have been together.
They also recently jetted off to LA, where they watched the Stereophonics in a packed crowd – while skilfully keeping each other off their photos.
However, later in the week, Zara finally confirmed her relationship with Louis as she shared a snap of them enjoying breakfast together in Malibu as the singer’s ‘ arm featured in a snap in a move that has been branded a ‘soft launch’ of their romance.
The romance was then sealed for real when Zara and Louis were pictured on another lunch date at Soho Beach House in Malibu. They walked hand in hand while chatting away to each other as Louis’ legions of loyal fans were sent into a frenzy.
