Ella Rae Wise has revealed she made a drastic change while in the Celebrity Big Brother house in order to keep away from Mickey Rourke. The TOWIE star, 24, was subject of a vile sexual comment from Mickey before he was booted out the house.
He caused plenty of controversy despite being on the show for just a matter of days. The Hollywood actor, 72, shocked viewers when he grabbed onto host AJ Odudu when entering the house, as his actions continued inside.
JoJo Siwa, 21, was left in tears when he made a shocking homophobic remark to her and in the same episode, he fat shamed Donna Preston. Just hours later Ella became his next target.
It wasn’t long before ITV announced Mickey agreed to leave after using “threatening and aggressive” language. The incident came as they took part in a pirate themed-challenge.
“I have instructions for us all. We’re not allowed in the bedroom, no one is allowed to touch the crisps or sweets,” Ella informed the group. ” Mickey then told her: “I don’t like them” before Ella responded: “You’ve got to come with me!”
The film star then shocked everyone, replying to her: “Come in you?” Drag Race star Danny Bear, 32, pulled him into line, saying: “Mickey, you can’t make them jokes.”
Ella then went to the diary room and said: “He’s making me feel on edge. I’m a young girl. I’m not a piece of meat. He’s making people feel so uneasy.”
The reality star was kicked out the show in a brutal triple elimination on Tuesday night alongside Angellica Bell and Patsy Palmer. Upon her exit, Ella opened up on what it was like to live with Mickey before he was removed from the house.
She chatted to hosts Will Best and AJ Odudu about Chris Hughes and Jack P Shepherd’s bromance, which promoted Ella to reveal she switched beds.
Patsy said: “They [Chris and Jack] were in beds next to each other.” Angellica turned to Ella and added: “But he started sleeping next to you first and then he moved.”
Ella clarified: “Yeah he moved because I moved. I was like ‘Jack do you mind swapping beds babe?’ But that wasn’t anything to do with Chris and JoJo, it honestly wasn’t.
“It was just because I was by Mickey, I didn’t feel comfortable so it was best I moved away.”
Things fully came to a head for Mickey when he branded Chris a “c***” for “side eyeing him” during the pirate challenge. Following the shock outburst, Chris said: “Mickey’s just Mickey, you know what I mean.”
However, an emotional Ella broke down and added: “It’s fine, you can be just someone, but be mindful of what it can trigger in other people, because it’s made me feel very uneasy.”
Following her exit, Ella returned to Instagram and said: “Your Essex girl is out of the Celebrity Big Brother House! What an remarkable experience, it was an absolute blinder but testing at times & very overwhelming if you couldn’t tell by the tears!
“One thing I will say is at the age of 24 I’m so proud of who I am & who I am becoming! Thank you so much for all your support, love & kind words really couldn’t thank you guys enough! This is really just the beginning for me & my journey in this world.”
