KSI launched a fierce social media onslaught following Andrew Tate’s loss to Chase DeMoor in the headline bout of Misfits Mania over the weekend. The ongoing tension between the two escalated in October when Tate replaced KSI as the CEO of Misfits Boxing.
The popular YouTuber was deeply upset by the sudden change, especially since he had co-founded the organization with manager Mams Taylor. Just before the fight commenced, KSI couldn’t resist celebrating Anthony Joshua’s victory over Jake Paul on Twitter, where the British heavyweight secured a win after six rounds.
KSI has a longstanding rivalry with Paul, dating back to their early boxing encounters involving their siblings. He expressed his desire for an Arsenal win and Tate’s defeat to complete what he described as a fantastic weekend.
The Gunners indeed delivered by securing a 1-0 win over Everton. KSI later tweeted, “This is the best weekend I’ve had this year omg,” in response to Tate’s loss.
Further taunting, KSI shared a photo of both Paul and Tate in vulnerable moments after their fights, captioning it with “Christmas came early” along with a crying emoji.
Despite Tate’s extensive background in combat sports, including MMA, kickboxing, K1, and Muay Thai, he had not competed professionally in five years and had never fought in a boxing match before.
While Tate started strong, his stamina seemed to wane as the fight progressed. DeMoor capitalized on this, landing a decisive right hand that turned the tide of the match.
Post-fight, Tate acknowledged DeMoor’s victory, stating, “I’m gonna have to go back, watch the fight, make a decision but Chase deserves his win. I’m really happy for him, genuinely. Better to try and lose than to not try at all.”
Following his defeat, Tate shared several posts on Twitter, including a message that said, “Most men have never felt the sting of defeat because most men have never even tried.”
