Luke Littler emerged victorious over Rob Cross in the PDC World Darts Championship quarter-finals and expressed frustration towards the audience at Ally Pally for booing him during the match.

As the reigning champion, Littler defeated Cross, who had strong support from the fans at Ally Pally. Following the match and during his post-game interview with Sky Sports, ‘The Nuke’ addressed the crowd’s negative reaction, stating, “Can I just say one thing. You guys pay for tickets and you pay for my prize money so thank you for my money, thank you for booing me! I just had to hold, Rob broke me, I broke him back.”

Expressing his focus on winning, Littler shared, “I just saw the stats then – I wasn’t thinking of anything- I just wanted to win. It was hostile, no one wanted me to win. They were wrong. It is not in reach just yet, you have got to get to the final.”

Prior to facing Cross, Littler had not dropped a set in the championships, ultimately claiming victory with a score of 4-2. His remarks sparked varied reactions online, with one fan humorously noting, “‘I’m not rattled’ from a visibly rattled Luke Littler.”

While some criticized Littler for his comments, labeling them as classless, others embraced the idea of him embracing a more antagonistic persona. Sky Sports pundit Wayne Mardle commented on the unusual interview, highlighting Littler’s composure under pressure and the challenge Cross posed during the match.

Mardle praised Littler’s performance, emphasizing his ability to excel under pressure and unsettle opponents. Concluding his analysis, Mardle highlighted Littler’s growing dominance in the sport.
