Police in New South Wales, Australia, have initiated a manhunt following a series of mysterious crimes that resulted in one man’s death and another individual fighting for his life. The incidents occurred minutes apart in Eungella, just west of Murwillumbah. Emergency responders found a man who had been shot at a property, but despite efforts to save him, the 41-year-old victim passed away at the scene. Meanwhile, a second man, believed to be 38 years old, sustained a gunshot wound and was rushed to the hospital for urgent medical treatment.

Authorities from the New South Wales police confirmed the tragic events, stating that two men, aged 41 and 38, were reportedly shot by another man who fled the scene with an accomplice. One of the victims succumbed to his injuries at the property, while the other victim sought medical attention for his gunshot wound. Additionally, a separate incident occurred on Tyalgum Road, where a 45-year-old man was allegedly struck by a vehicle and is currently hospitalized under police supervision.

Law enforcement is now focused on interviewing the injured men to uncover the circumstances surrounding the violent events. They are also actively searching for a fourth individual, believed to be 37 years old, who is thought to have information relevant to the case. Forensic teams, including a dog squad unit, are conducting investigations at the scene, leading to the closure of Tyalgum Road from Kellys Road to Old Lismore Road.
