A group of Italian researchers made a groundbreaking discovery in March by revealing a vast underground network extending almost 3,500 feet beneath Egypt’s Giza Plateau, connecting chambers comparable in size to city blocks.

Now, Filippo Biondi, the radar engineer responsible for the imaging technique, has presented compelling evidence. During an appearance on Jesse Michels’ American Alchemy podcast, Biondi disclosed that four independent satellite operators—Umbra, Capella Space, ICEYE, and Italy’s Cosmo-SkyMed—generated matching raw tomography data indicating the same subterranean structures.

Biondi emphasized the significance of the consistent results from all four satellites, underscoring the necessity of rigorous scientific validation before making any announcements. Utilizing his innovative synthetic aperture radar Doppler tomography method, Biondi’s team analyzes minute surface vibrations to capture acoustic signatures from objects deep underground, enabling the creation of detailed 3D images without penetrating the soil.

According to Biondi’s findings, the scans reveal eight massive hollow cylinders descending vertically from the base of the Khafre pyramid, one of the three major pyramids in Egypt. Each shaft allegedly contains a central column wrapped in precise helical coils, leading to cubic chambers over 3,500 feet below the plateau, measuring approximately 260 feet on each side—larger than many modern sports arenas.

Biondi suggested that the pyramids merely scratch the surface of a much larger structure hidden underground, stating, “The pyramids are just the tip of the iceberg.” Responding to concerns about the spiral formations being natural geological formations, he adamantly asserted that they are man-made, citing the absence of such perfect coils in natural geological processes.

Despite skepticism from mainstream experts, such as prominent Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, who dismissed the claims as “fake news,” the researchers remain steadfast. They claim to have identified similar signatures beneath the Menkaure pyramid and a large shaft beneath the Sphinx.

Similar spiral-shaft patterns were also identified 30 miles away at Hawara, known in ancient texts as the Labyrinth. The Giza complex comprises the Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure pyramids, constructed 4,500 years ago on the western bank of the Nile River in northern Egypt. The team has already measured depths exceeding 3,280 feet, equivalent to over half a mile underground.
