Sky has unveiled an exciting new update that is set to make waves. The television provider is rolling out a compelling subscription package that combines several of the most popular streaming services globally, all at a reduced monthly rate. Priced at just £24 per month, both new and current subscribers will soon enjoy access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the highly-anticipated HBO Max app, scheduled for launch next month.

According to Sky, this bundled offering delivers substantial value, including approximately £20 worth of streaming applications for a lower cost. Considering Sky’s current basic plan at £15 per month, the additional content effectively becomes available for just an extra £9.

Moreover, subscribers to the Ultimate TV plan will gain access to over 130 channels, featuring Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, Sky History, and more.

In another perk, Sky Cinema users will receive a dedicated Disney movie channel directly integrated into their planner. This convenient feature allows them to watch Disney blockbusters without needing to open the Disney+ app.

Existing Disney+ subscribers who sign up through Sky can seamlessly transfer their current plan—be it Standard or Premium—while retaining their profiles and viewing history.

Sky has ensured that all supported applications will be easily accessible from the homepage, with fully integrated content. This functionality enables users to discover shows and movies via voice search and save them to a Playlist for later viewing.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be accessible across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed that this update signifies a “new era” for Sky and NOW. By bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription, customers will benefit from a seamless viewing experience and exceptional value, with HBO Max included at no additional charge for NOW Entertainment subscribers.

Sky emphasizes that this move underscores its commitment to innovation, simplifying the process for viewers to enjoy premium entertainment in a single location.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE UPDATE:

– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads – starting from March (date pending)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads – available upon its UK & Ireland launch on 26th March
– Hayu starting in July, with select top shows available from March
– PLUS: Over 130 channels from Sky
