Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers are set to experience an increase in their monthly bills starting next month following a recent announcement. Most customers will witness a £1.50 per month hike, translating to an annual increase of £18, although some individuals may see varying adjustments in their bills.

The revised pricing will take effect on February 14, 2026, marking the first time in over seven years that Sky Mobile has implemented a price adjustment for customers under contract. For those dissatisfied with the price surge and within the minimum contract period, the option to terminate the package without incurring an early termination fee is available.

Notably, the cost of the Sky Mobile social tariff, catering to individuals with lower incomes, will remain unchanged. Sky attributed the price modification to escalating wholesale network expenses and assured customers of prompt notifications regarding the billing adjustments.

A spokesperson from Sky Mobile explained, “In order to sustain the quality, service, and value that our customers expect, a majority of Sky Mobile users will encounter a £1.50 increase in their monthly bills starting February. We approach such decisions with care, as evidenced by our avoidance of mid-contract mobile price hikes for more than seven years.”

The industry-wide cost pressures prompted by increased network expenses have necessitated this change to support ongoing investments in network infrastructure and customer service. This development aligns with O2’s recent announcement of a £2.50 per month increase for nearly all mobile and SIM-only contract subscribers from April 2026, exceeding the initially planned £1.80 increment.

Furthermore, customers of Three opting for data plans of 4GB or less will face a £1.80 monthly price surge from April 2026, a jump of 80p compared to the current £1 increment. Subscribers with data plans ranging between 4GB and 100GB will witness a £1.90 monthly increase, while those with over 100GB will experience a £2.30 rise per month. Three broadband users can anticipate a £3.50 monthly bill increase from April 2026.

Vodafone mobile customers signing up from November 12 will encounter a £2.50 monthly hike, with Basics SIM plan users facing a £1.50 increase. Vodafone broadband subscribers will also experience a £3.50 monthly price adjustment. Existing Vodafone or Three broadband and mobile contract holders will witness the previously agreed-upon price hikes as per their contracts.
