Sky TV customers are in for a treat as the company has rolled out a new upgrade to its Sky Ultimate plan, offering complimentary access to the Disney+ subscription service. This enhancement, valued at £5.99, allows existing subscribers to enjoy a wide range of Disney, Star Wars, Pixar, and Marvel content without any additional charges.

Beyond Disney+, Sky’s revamped package will soon include HBO Max Basic and Hayu, providing customers with even more entertainment options. The integration of Disney+ content across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms ensures a seamless viewing experience, with features like Continue Watching, search, and voice control.

Additionally, Sky Cinema subscribers will now have access to a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel. For those who are not yet Sky customers, the new Sky Ultimate package is open to all UK households starting at £24 per month.

The £24 plan includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching on March 26 in the UK & Ireland), full access to Hayu (available from July), and over 130 Sky channels. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized that the update aims to streamline the viewing experience by bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription.

Existing customers will receive the expanded lineup at no extra cost, while NOW Entertainment users will gain access to HBO Max within the app without any additional charges. Sky’s objective with these changes is to simplify streaming services and provide a more cohesive viewing experience for its audience.
