Donald Trump has dismissed exercise as “boring” in a recent interview, going against his doctor’s advice. The US President expressed his dislike for physical activity like walking or running on a treadmill for extended periods, stating that it is not something he enjoys.
In addition, Trump revealed that he consumes a higher dosage of aspirin than recommended by his physician, Navy Capt. Sean Barbabella. Despite the doctor’s suggestion, Trump opts for a larger dose of 325 milligrams daily, citing that he has been following this routine for 25 years, even though it leads to bruising.
The report also disclosed that Trump briefly experimented with wearing compression socks for his swollen ankles but abandoned the practice due to personal preference. He attributed his ability to combat health issues to “good genetics.”
Regarding his choice to continue with the higher aspirin dosage, Trump emphasized the importance of maintaining “thin blood,” stating that aspirin helps in this regard. He also addressed rumors about falling asleep at White House events and denied any hearing difficulties, though he admitted to using makeup to conceal bruising on his hands.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt linked the bruising on Trump’s hand to his frequent handshake interactions, highlighting his busy schedule and daily aspirin regimen as contributing factors.
Trump recently refuted claims of slowing down by disclosing that he underwent a “Cognitive Examination” and performed well. He criticized media outlets for spreading false information about his health and work ethic, asserting that he remains sharp and dedicated to his responsibilities as President.
