Upon noticing smoke, firefighters entered the flat and discovered the burnt body of Sabrina Aylen Vega on the floor, with the front door obstructed by items inside and towels wedged underneath to contain the smoke.
Security footage revealed that Sabrina arrived at the apartment with her partner, Maximiliano Oviedo, who fled the scene once the fire erupted. Law enforcement suspects that the fire was intentionally set to harm the individual inside, ruling out accidental causes after forensic examinations.
