An email chain found in the recently released files related to the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein reveals that Donald Trump traveled on Epstein’s private jet more frequently than previously reported. The email, dated January 7, 2020, mentions that Trump was a passenger on at least eight flights between 1993 and 1996, some of which included Ghislaine Maxwell. On one flight, Trump and Epstein were the only passengers, and on another, there were only three passengers – Epstein, Trump, and an individual whose name was redacted in the document.
Additionally, the email indicates that on two other flights, there were women who could potentially be witnesses in a case involving Maxwell. Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022 for crimes including conspiracy to entice minors and sex trafficking.
Earlier this year, Maxwell was transferred from a Florida prison to a minimum-security facility in Texas after meeting with the Deputy US Attorney General twice in July. Details of these meetings, during which she sought a pardon from President Trump, have not been disclosed. Although Trump and Epstein were previously known to be friends and were pictured together, Trump has stated that they fell out around 2004. Trump has denied any wrongdoing in connection to Epstein, and the fact that he was on these flights does not imply any wrongdoing.
