A married teacher, Nicole Hernandez, also known as Nikki Baird, is accused of engaging in multiple sexual encounters with a 17-year-old student, including intimate acts in her Jeep. Hernandez allegedly initiated the relationship while teaching at a middle school in Kansas and furthered it at Wichita North High School, where she reportedly isolated the teen from his peers.
Reports suggest that Hernandez manipulated the student by touching him and pressuring him into physical contact. She allegedly began a sexual relationship with the teen in early 2024, telling him about her marital struggles and sending affectionate messages. The pair met off school premises, even receiving parental approval for outings, during which Hernandez exhibited inappropriate behavior, including asking the student if he wanted her to kiss him.
As their relationship progressed, Hernandez allegedly encouraged the student to engage in sexual activities, even after his graduation. The student eventually realized the impropriety of their interactions and ceased contact with Hernandez, revealing the situation to his family. Nude photos and letters allegedly from Hernandez were provided to authorities, leading to her arrest in May. Hernandez is expected to appear in court on December 19.
