Hosted by Mariska Hargitay, the event recognized excellence in television, with “Widow’s Bay” leading the pack by winning 14 Emmys, including Outstanding Comedy Series and acting accolades for Matthew Rhys, Stephen Root, and Kate O’Flynn. “The Pitt” secured its second consecutive win for Outstanding Drama Series, while “DTF St. Louis” claimed the Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series award.
Among the standout victories were Noah Wyle for lead actor in a drama, Rhea Seehorn for lead actress in a drama, and Jean Smart for lead actress in a comedy. The ceremony also featured a touching tribute to the late Dolly Parton, a special performance by Reba McEntire, a reunion of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” stars, and a celebration marking 50 years of “Charlie’s Angels.”
