A striking image has surfaced showing convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein holding a giant $22,500 cheque signed by Donald Trump. The photo, part of the recently released Epstein files by the Department of Justice, also features a woman alongside Epstein. The files reveal various high-profile individuals, including Bill Clinton, Prince Andrew, and Trump, in association with Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell. It is important to note that being captured in these files does not imply any wrongdoing by those depicted.
The cheque image, with Trump’s signature in a distinctive style, was framed with the words “once in a blue moon” encircling it. The woman’s identity and the cheque recipient’s name were intentionally obscured. Additionally, the files contained snapshots of Bill Clinton relaxing in a jacuzzi and swimming with Maxwell, although the exact circumstances of these images remain unknown.
While Trump’s details were redacted from Epstein’s contact book, it is known that the President had a prior association with Epstein but later distanced himself from the sex offender. The Department of Justice has begun releasing documents related to the Epstein investigation, with more files set to be disclosed in the coming weeks.
In response to the release of the files, an Epstein victim criticized Trump, accusing him of a “cover-up” and expressing disappointment in the delayed disclosure. Epstein, who was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, died by suicide in a federal jail in Manhattan in August 2019.
