A mother and daughter from West Belfast, Northern Ireland, will be laid to rest together after passing away just days apart, leaving their loved ones in sorrow.

Annmarie McCann and her daughter Bridin were remembered with heartfelt tributes after peacefully passing away in the hospital this week. Mallon Funeral Directors shared a tribute honoring Annmarie, who passed away on December 4, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Bridin, who passed away on November 30, 2025, was remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Both Annmarie and Bridin will have a joint funeral on December 8, starting with a Requiem Mass at The Church of the Nativity followed by burial in Milltown Cemetery.

The community has been deeply saddened by the loss of Annmarie and Bridin, with many expressing their condolences on social media. St Gall GAC shared their sympathies for the McCann family, especially for Carleen, one of their players, and extended their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The passing of Annmarie and Bridin has touched the hearts of many, reflecting the impact they had within their community and beyond.
