Samsung continues to lead in global Android sales, but Motorola makes a strong comeback with the launch of its feature-rich competitor. The new Motorola Edge 70 Max stands out with a massive battery and rapid charging capabilities that surpass Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy phones.

Inside the Edge 70 Max is a substantial 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, offering extended usage time for activities like streaming, gaming, and browsing. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries in Samsung devices, the silicon-carbon technology provides more energy without adding bulk or weight to the phone.

When the battery runs low, Motorola’s 90W TurboPower charging technology kicks in, delivering quick charging speeds. Motorola claims that just six minutes of charging can provide enough power for a whole day, outshining Samsung’s current 60W wired charging limit.

DXOMARK experts have already recognized the Edge 70 Max for its exceptional battery performance, awarding it the prestigious Gold Label for battery life and charging efficiency.

Apart from its impressive power features, the Motorola phone offers flagship specifications. It boasts a sharp 6.82-inch Quad HD+ display, powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor for smooth performance across various applications. The phone also incorporates a large vapour chamber cooling system to manage heat during intensive tasks.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the AI-powered camera system on the Edge 70 Max, featuring a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a dedicated macro lens for close-up shots.

Additional highlights of the phone include an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, water resistance, and a premium design available in Pantone Aqua Gray, Pantone Dark Shadow, and Pantone Ice Melt.

Wilkin Lee, Head of Marketing UK & Ireland at Motorola, stated, “Great technology should look beautiful, perform brilliantly, and fit effortlessly into everyday life. With immersive visuals, powerful performance, all-day battery life, and the responsiveness gamers demand, the Edge 70 Max delivers a premium entertainment experience without compromise.”

The Motorola Edge 70 Max is now available for purchase in the UK at a price of £699.99.
