Following a serious collision, a woman had to be extracted from a vehicle and promptly transported to the hospital.

In Rochdale, Greater Manchester, emergency services responded to a significant traffic incident at the junction of Bolton Road and Eskdale Avenue around 8:30 pm, involving two cars. One woman was rescued from a vehicle and sent to the hospital, while four others sustained injuries and received on-site treatment.

The road where the accident occurred, as indicated by an AA map, has since reopened after temporary closures. Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue service confirmed that the incident has been handed over to the Greater Manchester Police.

A tragic incident in north Manchester on December 2 resulted in the death of a 61-year-old man named Jason Parr. The collision involved his e-bike and two pedestrians on Rochdale Road in Blackley at approximately 8:45 pm. While Jason succumbed to his injuries at the scene, the pedestrians sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.

In a heartfelt tribute released by Greater Manchester Police, Jason’s daughter Samantha described her father as unique and deeply missed. She expressed profound sorrow over his sudden passing and emphasized his irreplaceable presence in their lives.

Road closures remain in effect around Bolton Road and Eskdale Avenue in Rochdale, with authorities urging people to steer clear of the area as emergency services are actively managing the situation.

On Thursday, December 4, at around 8:30 pm, fire crews responded to a report of a road traffic collision on Bolton Road, Rochdale. Following the incident involving two vehicles, firefighters utilized specialized tools to extract a woman from one of the cars, who was then transported to the hospital. Additionally, paramedics assessed and treated four individuals at the scene before handing over the incident to the Greater Manchester Police.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service emphasized the gravity of the situation at the junction of Bolton Road and Eskdale Avenue in Rochdale, stressing the importance of avoiding the area due to ongoing road closures.
