Sky has revealed upcoming price increases for certain broadband and TV subscribers starting in April. The majority of broadband users can expect a monthly raise of £3, while premium TV package costs will escalate by £1 to £3. Sky has assured customers that they will receive notifications about the adjustments beginning today.
Sky operates on a flexible pricing structure, allowing customers under a minimum contract term to cancel their package without incurring early termination fees. The revised prices will take effect from April onward.
On a positive note, Sky has announced that millions of TV customers will now have access to HBO Max, Disney+, and Hayu as part of their standard package starting next month.
Netflix is already included, making the total value of streaming apps £20 monthly. A Sky spokesperson stated that the prices for Sky broadband and TV services will change in April, emphasizing the company’s commitment to minimizing price increases compared to the market average.
Sky Mobile customers recently experienced bill hikes, with most facing a £1.50 monthly increase, totaling £18 annually. The adjusted prices will be reflected in bills from February 14, 2026, marking the first price change for in-contract Sky Mobile customers in over seven years.
Customers dissatisfied with the price hike and within the minimum contract period can cancel their package without penalty. The price of the Sky Mobile social tariff, designed for low-income individuals, will remain unchanged.
For those out of contract, it may be beneficial to compare prices online to potentially save money on mobile and broadband services. Evaluating current usage levels for minutes, texts, and broadband speed can help avoid overpaying for unused allowances. Consider switching providers or negotiating for a better deal with the current provider. Eligibility for a reduced social tariff should be explored by benefit claimants.
