Spider-Man: Brand New Day has achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the quickest film to surpass the $700 million mark at the North American box office, accomplishing this feat in just 13 days. This places it among a select group of movies that have achieved this level of success in North America, with notable films like Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Avengers: Endgame taking 16 days to reach this milestone.

The movie, a collaborative effort between Marvel and Sony, features Tom Holland reprising his role as Peter Parker for the fourth time. Alongside him are prominent stars like Zendaya, Jon Bernthal, Florence Pugh, Mark Ruffalo, and newcomer Sadie Sink. The storyline follows Peter Parker navigating life in a world where memories of Spider-Man have been erased, leading to a struggle with loneliness and fluctuating powers.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to break records, not only grossing $704.5 million in North America but also raking in $1.108 billion internationally within just two weekends. This surpasses the international earnings of its predecessor, No Way Home, which made $1.106 billion globally.

The movie’s success extends further, with achievements including surpassing Avengers: Endgame for the biggest domestic opening weekend, securing the highest-grossing first week in domestic box office history, and becoming the second-fastest film to reach $1 billion globally, trailing only behind Avengers: Endgame. Additionally, it has become Sony’s highest-grossing release across 26 international markets.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day’s success is a testament to its captivating storyline and stellar performances, propelling it to unprecedented heights in the realm of box office achievements.
