The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at home, marking the 14th time in the last 15 years they have done so. The NBA disclosed the complete schedule for the 2026-27 season, revealing that the Raptors will commence their campaign on Oct. 21 against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, Toronto will hit the road for their first away game against the Washington Wizards two days later.
Among the noteworthy matchups at home are consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on Nov. 15 and 17, as well as a clash with Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 10 and a face-off against Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10. January emerges as the busiest month for the Raptors, featuring a packed schedule of 17 games, including a six-game homestand. Additionally, the team is slated to play 15 back-to-back games during the season, with seven of them not requiring any travel.
The NBA has so far announced 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games, with the remaining two to be arranged post the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament. Despite this, the Raptors have been excluded from the league’s prime-time Christmas Day lineup once again. The last time Toronto played on Dec. 25 was in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
