The event took place on Berkeley Street in the heart of Glasgow, where police have cordoned off the area for ongoing investigations. Authorities responded to reports of a disturbance at a property around 6:45 a.m. today, with emergency services arriving shortly after. The deceased man was found at the scene, and although his death is currently unexplained, the injuries sustained by the other three individuals are said to be non-life threatening, according to the police.

A statement from Police Scotland stated, “We were alerted to a disturbance at a property on Berkeley Street in Glasgow at approximately 6:45 a.m. on Friday, 5 December. Upon arrival, a man was discovered deceased. Three individuals were subsequently hospitalized due to non-life threatening injuries. The circumstances surrounding the death are under investigation, and officers are present at the scene to ensure public safety.”

The Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed that four ambulances were dispatched to the location. A spokesperson mentioned, “We received an emergency call at 07:08 a.m. regarding an incident on Berkeley Street, Glasgow. Our response included four ambulances, a paramedic response unit (PRU), a special operations response unit (SORT), and a trauma team. One patient was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, while two others were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”

A section of Berkeley Street, including parts near the Sikh temple Central Gurdwara Glasgow and Glasgow Gaelic School, has been cordoned off, as reported by the Daily Record. The Central Gurdwara Glasgow had to close temporarily due to restricted access caused by the police cordon. The road closures remained in place throughout the early afternoon.
