Carey Price is set to receive recognition at the Bell Centre, where he has spent his entire illustrious NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens recently announced that Price will be back at the Bell Centre on November 10 to mark his Hall of Fame induction, which is scheduled for the day before.
Price will join the esteemed ranks of the Canadiens as the 62nd member to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. Following this honor, he will be immortalized in the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a distinction reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in the world of hockey.
Having played as a goaltender in Montreal for his entire 15-year career, Price has amassed an impressive record. Over 712 games, he has maintained a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. Price holds the franchise records for most games played and victories as a goaltender.
The celebration of Price’s achievements will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Notably, Price has been selected as an all-star seven times and was chosen as the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry draft.
The Montreal Canadiens will launch their pre-season on September 19, with the regular season commencing on September 29 in Toronto against the Maple Leafs.
