The recent release of the Epstein files has stirred up a frenzy of speculation around a mysterious individual known as ‘The Invisible Man’ who engaged in email correspondence with Ghislaine Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker. The emails, part of the latest document disclosure, include intriguing inquiries from ‘The Invisible Man’ to Maxwell, such as seeking new inappropriate acquaintances.
There is growing conjecture that this enigmatic character could possibly be Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, who has been under intense scrutiny for his association with Jeffrey Epstein. In a photograph unveiled from the file release, Andrew is depicted reclining on the laps of women at Sandringham, with Maxwell, the convicted sex trafficker, in the background. Despite the mounting allegations, Andrew has consistently refuted any wrongdoing.
Maxwell, who was convicted in 2021 on sex trafficking and conspiracy charges, is serving a 20-year prison sentence, scheduled for release in 2037. The emails in question shed light on various details surrounding the interactions between the parties involved.
Many speculate that the signature ‘A’ in the emails points to Andrew, but the email addresses linked to ‘The Invisible Man’ carry significant implications. The pseudonym is associated with two email accounts within the Epstein files, one of which, aace@dial.pipex.com, is listed in Epstein’s contacts under the label “Duke of York.”
The email exchange, dated February 2002, discusses plans for a trip to Peru. Maxwell initiates the conversation by forwarding details to ‘The Invisible Man’ at abx17@dial.pipex.com, outlining proposed activities like lunch and horseback riding. The emails also touch upon topics related to potential companionship during the trip.
Furthermore, the correspondence reveals Maxwell’s reliance on ‘The Invisible Man’ to ensure an enjoyable and discreet experience for the individual in question. Notably, during this period, Andrew, still an active member of the Royal family and a UK trade envoy, is believed to have visited Peru.
The emails also reference Andrew’s presence at the Balmoral Summer Camp, where activities were in full swing, indicating his busy schedule. The correspondence hints at interactions with Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, Andrew’s daughters with Sarah Ferguson, during their time at Balmoral.
The email exchanges provide glimpses into Andrew’s personal life, including the loss of his long-serving valet and his transition out of active naval service. Andrew’s distinguished naval career, which spanned over two decades, culminated in various roles, including commanding the mine countermeasures vessel HMS Cottesmore.
While Andrew’s rank and titles have been subject to revision, his tenure in the Royal Navy remains integral to his background. The Mirror has reached out to Buckingham Palace for comments on the matter.
