An investigation into a homicide is underway following the tragic deaths of a young couple deeply in love, discovered lifeless in their residence. Spencer Tepe and Monique Tepe were found murdered in their home on December 30, 2025, with gunshot wounds, prompting law enforcement in Columbus, Ohio, to launch a murder inquiry. Authorities are currently awaiting official documents, including toxicology reports, from the coroner’s office.

The couple, survived by their two young children, and their extended family are understandably devastated by the heartbreaking loss, occurring shortly after the holiday season. Described as exceptional individuals who cherished love, happiness, and strong connections, Spencer and Monique will be dearly missed. The family is determined to seek justice for the tragic incident.

No suspects have been apprehended in connection with the deaths. Reports indicate that Spencer sustained multiple gunshot wounds, while Monique was shot in the chest. Concerns arose when Spencer, a dentist, failed to report to work, prompting a visit from authorities who were met with the distressing sounds of children crying inside the home.

Dr. Mark Valrose, a colleague of Spencer, expressed worry over the inability to reach Monique, adding to the alarming situation. A fundraising campaign has been initiated to support the couple’s children, as investigators continue to seek leads in the case without identifying any specific persons of interest. The public is urged to contact the Columbus Police Homicide Unit or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers with any relevant information.

In a separate case, three teenagers have been sentenced for the fatal assault on a homeless man, resulting in his death from severe injuries sustained during the attack. Eymaiyah Lee Bradshaw-McKoy, Mia Campos-Jorge, and Jaidee Bingham faced legal proceedings, with Bingham found guilty of murder while the other two were convicted of manslaughter. Despite opportunities to intervene, the trio was held responsible for the man’s demise in a lengthy court deliberation.
